Playing at The Tote was so much fun!
Captain Beep-boop started off the night with an awesome set, dialling up the fun with a retro pay-phone turned synth.
A hard act to follow, but thanks to that the audience was warmed up to become an easy crowd! People were getting involved, and it's always fun when they sing along.
After we were done in the Front Bar, it was over to the Band Room to see Sick Visor & Frenzel Rhomb 🤘
It's crazy how fat the sound was that Sick Visor can get with just 2 people, and people were vibing from their joy of playing on stage. Loved the merch they have too, and now we're the proud owners of one of their turtle shirts and a hand-made ladybug bracelet.
Frenzel Rhomb are insane. They still have as much energy as when I first saw them almost 20 years ago! The banter between songs was a riot and they kept the crowd buzzed the whole time. After a couple attempts, a mosh pit eventually opened up and it kept going up from there.
